Steve Apfelbaum, author of Nature's Second Chance and principal ecologist and chairman of Applied Ecological Services, will bring a unique and inspiring perspective on the possibilities of helping nature recover. As a labor of love he restored 80 acres of prairie, wetland, spring brook, and forest at Stone Prairie Farm in Wisconsin. And through Applied Ecological Services, he has led large-scale innovative projects around the world that have been designed to better reconcile human needs and living natural systems. 

The event is free for members of Conserve Lake County; the fee for guests is $35.00. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
